Courage is recognising the fear.
Feel the fear but do it anyway. Courage is bringing that fear with you into whichever situation you are facing at that time. Something wonderful happens for us, and to us, when we get to the other side of that fear. And what it brings on the other side is confidence and self-esteem and more belief in ourselves. We all have fear. Every one of us. But don't let it stop you. Recognise it. Say hello to it but don't let it be a wall that you can't get through. Something needs to be done and you know it and you know you have to take that fear with you. When you come out the other side there is so much good and so much self-development and growth.
Make a list
Make a list of things that you've been putting off because of fear. And begin doing these things on your list. Check in with yourself before you do them and have a good look at your fear and overall how you are feeling. Do whatever it is and do your best. Then when that task is done and you've faced your fear, check in with yourself again and see how you feel. I imagine you will be feeling powerful and stronger and ready to take on your next fearful task.
