People do a lot of talking about themselves. They tell you that they are nice, kind, spiritual, that they have integrity; the list goes on.
But you know that expression "actions speak louder than words"? Actions really do speak louder than words. And this is a good thing.
If we find ourselves confused by someone, then watch how they behave. How they behave towards you and how they behave towards others.
Our own inbuilt warning system
We all have an inbuilt warning system that is there to protect us. I was recently told by a good friend that I "should meet with this person because she is really lovely..."So I met this person but my inner warning system was saying beware; avoid. Of course I didn't listen because a good friend had recommended this person to me.
Guess what! I should have listened to my instinct. That was the last time I'll not trust my own intuition and instinct. It doesn't matter who tells me something, from now on I will go with my gut!
A verse of wisdom
If you get me once, it's on you but if you get me twice, it's on me
I recently had a client that said he should have never married his wife. When I asked him why he told me and I asked him: "were these things apparent years ago when he first met her?"
He said yes but he had hoped she would change and become a better person over the years. She didn't.The overall message is: actions speak louder than words, so please pay attention.
