Make a note of all good things that happen this year and put them in a jar.

I posted a quote on Facebook last week and this post got a lot of feedback and interest from people and so I thought it would be a good idea to do a video about this.

Make a note of all good things

Get a jar, whichever size you want, and fill it with notes on all the good things that happen to you this year in 2019. And then on New Years Eve 2019 get the jar and take out all of the notes that you wrote during this year and look at how many wonderful things happened to you in these past 12 months. Remind yourself of all that good stuff.

It's our human nature to focus on the negative things that happen. That's unfortunate but it's true. And so because of this, there must be hundreds of good things that happen during the year that don't get any notice.

I'm asking us to do something about that. In my video here you can see two sizes of jars - I chose the biggest one I could find because I'm planning on having a lot of good things happen this year.
